Melissa and Dean were married at The Substation in Newport which is hands down my favourite venue so far! Their ceremony consisted only of close family members and was set against the backdrop of beautiful industrial windows. 

Later on the party began downstairs when guests milled through the doors to be greeted with the incredible styling and high ceilings of the venue. I am in love with this venue and even more with the love shown between these two!

When I photographed Mandy & Mark's couple session, I could sense the strong love between them from the get go. Having crossed paths multiple times whilst growing up, it seems these two were destined for each other. No other wedding vows have made me almost tear up like these two. Love is beautiful and these two are proof.

Cassie & Ben wanted a wedding that reflected not only the life they share, but their values, memories and dreams. They tied the knot under a beautiful oak tree at the gorgeous property of Bringalbit Country Retreat in Kyneton. Surrounded by peacocks and acres of stunning gardens helped to invoke a calm serenity into this wedding. 

From the moment I arrived and Cassie started with "I trust you Jess", I knew I had to live up to that and tell their story in the most authentic way I could.

They don't use the phrase lucky in love for nothing! Holly & Jason won their booking at Portsea Hotel at their bridal expo and whilst the rain didn't stay away for their ceremony, they got lucky and had picture perfect weather for their couple photos at the Quarantine Station in Port Nepean National Park.

Sometimes you can't predict life and sometimes you can't predict the weather! This wedding was one of those as storms rolled across Sorrento  and the sky cried heavy tears of rain setting back the ceremony by almost an hour. However Emily find a small window of clear sky and surprising sunshine to sneak away and tie the knot with Patrick on the Sorrento foreshore. 

Mother nature gave us beautiful stormy, dramatic skies for their wedding portraits and the kind of light that all photographers dream of and dreamy is just the right word to describe the wonderful wedding of Emily & Patrick. They ventured on to celebrate their reception at The Baths and everything was divine!

Kate and Drew were married at Tatra Receptions in the beautifully leafy Dandenong ranges and could easily give every other bridal party a run for their money! From bridesmaids dancing in the kitchen, to tearing up the dance floor. This was one of my favourite weddings!

Cathy and Warren booked me a week out from their wedding when they realised their family friend taking photographs throughout the day wouldn't be taking photographs after the ceremony. I was more than happy to photograph their after ceremony bliss and reception. We even were able to sneak away and grab the last few rays of sunlight. 

These two tied the knot at Baxter Barn, a personal favourite venue of mine and whilst I didn't catch their ceremony. I heard all about it from their excited guests. This wedding also made me realise that everyone is 110% happier with an espresso martini in their hands! Plus check out the amazing event planning effort done by Events by Alex!

Monique & Peter held the most beautiful and elegant wedding at Catholic Parish of St.Ignatius and St James in Richmond on 27th January. 2017. The two shared quiet moments in Fitzroy conservatory before commencing onto their reception at Quat Quatta to eat, dance and laugh. Plus those flower girls just melt my heart!

Often weddings feel like they're all about the bride. They organise and organise till their hearts content but in this case, Stevenn approached me to photograph his day and it was a special one for a different kind of reason. 

Stevenn is one of my oldest friends and I felt honoured and slightly nervous to be the one to photograph his wedding day. In fact, I counted.. it's 14 years that I've known Stevenn!

Amanda & Stevenn tied the knot at the Morning Star Estate in the garden outside just before the rain started and partied the night away in the beautiful old surroundings of the estate buildings.  

I've worked alongside Candice for a few years so I knew when she asked me to photograph her wedding with Ryan, that it would be very reminiscent of her delicate kindness. Both the ceremony and reception were held at Baxter Barn and everything was perfect. After a rainy morning, the sun came out and made for a lovely, quaint evening with those closest to Candice & Ryan. 

Alana and James chose the stunning Abbotsford Convent as their location to tie the knot on a beautifully sunny afternoon. Inspired by Alana's Italian heritage, the two created a day that reflected this as they shared their lives with their family and friends for a day filled with romance and sentiment.
